Senior IT Technician

Join a leading manufacturing company in the automotive industry as a Senior IT Technician. Based in Middlesbrough, you'll be providing critical IT support to internal colleagues across five UK sites, with occasional travel required. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Main Duties:

• Provide 2nd/3rd line IT support to internal teams, both onsite and remotely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across the organisation.
• Work on IT infrastructure projects and system upgrades.
• Maintain and support business-critical systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as necessary.
• Ensure seamless operation of IT services across all UK sites.

Tech Requirements:

• Strong experience with Windows Server environments.
• Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP.
• Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Strong networking skills (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Online.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
