About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised senior administrator to join our team in Middlesbrough. This role involves high-level administration duties, managing a bespoke database, and ensuring the smooth coordination of maintenance for street lighting in Redcar & Cleveland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete daily tasks within strict timescales to avoid financial penalties.
  • Monitor management information systems (MIS)
  • Generate and validate work orders for operatives, coordinate permits, and liaise with external stakeholders.
  • Assist the Office Manager with various administrative duties and provide cover in their absence.
  • Manage a small commercial fleet, including scheduling maintenance and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Work collaboratively within a small team
  • Participate in relevant training as required for the role.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and external partners.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements, including standard Drug & Alcohol testing.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with databases and management information systems.
  • Knowledge of fleet management (preferred but not essential).
