This well recognised, highly respected, Teesside based organisation has an opportunity for an experienced Credit Control specialist who feels ready to make the next career step up to Credit Control Assistant Manager. This role has come about due to succession planning and the aim is that in the longer term the candidate would then step up to Credit Manager.

Your new role

Responsible for the day to day deputy management of the Credit Control team, recommending and implementing strategies to maximise sales ledger recoveries within acceptable timescales and targets.Responsible for setting KPIs and ambitious targets.Reviewing with the team to ensure success.Handle all aspects of credit control, including statements, collection letters, and final payment reminders.Take full ownership of the invoicing process, collaborating with account managers to capture all necessary information.Working alongside all internal teams, they ensure communication is clear and efficient, thus maintaining smooth processes.Manage the allocation of payment receipts from clients.What You Need to SucceedYou will be an experienced Credit Controller ready for advancement, or an Assistant / Credit Manager looking for a fresh challenge.Must have prior experience in credit control/collections within a dynamic setting.Exceptional communication abilities are required for liaising with both internal teams and clients.What you'll get in returnWorking with a vibrant team.Attractive salary and benefits package.Free on-site parking.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
