Paul Card Recruitment is partnering with Close Protection Security, part of a wider group offering specialist security services and operating a thriving portfolio of bars and grills, to recruit their first Finance Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll bring all accounting processes in-house and help drive the financial strategy across the group. With exciting clients like Middlesbrough Football Club and Rockliffe Hall, and big plans for growth (they're launching another bar next week!), now is the perfect time to join this expanding team.

This standalone role gives you the autonomy to manage the finance function, implement Xero, and streamline processes across the group. If you're someone who thrives on getting stuck in and rolling up your sleeves, this is the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts, delivering insightful financial reporting to the leadership team, managing credit control and cash flow, and ensuring payroll, VAT returns, and HMRC compliance are handled You'll also be tasked with implementing Xero, improving financial systems, and advising senior management on financial strategies that support growth.

In this role, you'll enjoy complete autonomy working from your own on-site office, where you'll have the freedom to make the changes needed to shape the business.
