You'll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration and support, fostering an environment where your contributions are appreciated. Your responsibilities will include managing a high volume of invoices, overseeing credit control processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant finance experience within an SME environment, demonstrating your ability to manage cash flow and financial operations independently.
  • A recognised qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or be a finalist in one of these qualifications, showcasing your strong financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software, along with advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables and use lookups for effective data analysis.
  • Experience handling high invoice volumes and a solid understanding of credit control processes.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance function.
