Our client, a UK-leading metal stockholder, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming enquiries and process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Make outbound sales calls to engage with existing, lapsed, dormant, and new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell to maximize revenue.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely responses to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and relevant customer information.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the metals industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence in making outbound sales calls and handling objections effectively.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
