Tender Engineer

This role offers the opportunity to support the Tender Manager in organising and managing the tender process for large, multidisciplinary, and complex projects. Ideal for professionals with a background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, particularly within the offshore wind industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support the Tender Manager in organising and managing the tender process from invitation to submission.
  • Handle both complex and less complex project-based and content-based tender processes.
  • Compile and write tender documents.
  • Manage the follow-up and hand-over of successful tenders.
  • Evaluate tender processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Occasionally travel internationally to project locations and the Netherlands office.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in a similar position, preferably in the offshore wind industry.
  • Experience in hydraulic engineering and/or civil technical projects is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts and a good understanding of commerce.
  • Customer-oriented with a representative attitude.
  • Analytically strong, result-oriented, and collaboration-minded.
  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to bring people together.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs.
