Valve Technician

We are current looking for Valve Technicians for a long term contract in the Wilton area (Middlesbrough).

Immediate starts available

Rates of pay between 28 - 30 per hour.

Job description

• Maintain and repair a wide range of safety valves and associated pressure safety devices, set valves to required tolerances, maintain and repair pilot operated relief valves
• Maintain and repair a wide range of isolation valves including: gate valves, parallel slide valves, ball valves when required
• Pressure testing valves and associated equipment
• To adhere to all safety requirements incl. safety checks of tools and equipment
• Enter all valve data in the Valve Management database
• Actively promote the Core Values within all work-based activities

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering would be expected.

Must have in date CCNSG Safety Passport as you may be required to work on site.
