We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Catheterization Lab team. In this critical role, you will provide high-quality patient care during catheterisation procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in anatomy and patient care will be essential in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Duties

  • Prepare patients for catheterisation procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Assist physicians during catheterisation procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the procedure, responding promptly to any changes.
  • Document patient information accurately in medical records, including pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care.
  • Educate patients on post-procedure care and recovery, providing clear instructions for follow-up appointments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans for patients.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly related to cardiovascular health.
  • The work is going to be a mix of TAVI, EP, Devices and PCI.
  • Proven experience in providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment relevant to catheterisation procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
