Role Overview: The Multi Modal Freight Supervisor will play a key role in our logistics operations. Seeking an experienced Multi Modal Freight Supervisor to oversee and coordinate transportation services, including road, rail, air, and sea freight. Ensure efficient movement of goods, manage a team, and maintain compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day logistics operations across all transportation modes.
Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals.
Optimise routing to minimise costs and transit times.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-saving strategies.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Resolve transit issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in logistics/supply chain management, 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
