Job Specification: Inventory Assistant

Position: Inventory AssistantLocation: Middlesborough Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)Contract: Interim

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide materials management services, including receipt and distribution of goods.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and identify opportunities for product standardisation and rationalization.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient inventory management and support operational needs.
  • Assist in inventory control, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and supplies.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in inventory management, materials planning, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems or software is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various departments.
