About the Role:We are looking for a talented Commercial Property Solicitor to join our dynamic team. This exciting role involves working on a wide range of complex and high-value commercial property matters, providing expert legal advice to clients from diverse sectors. As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload and providing tailored legal solutions to meet clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sale, Purchase, and Lease of Property: Advise clients on the sale, purchase, and leasing of commercial properties.
- Development and Infrastructure Projects: Provide legal support for development, planning, and infrastructure projects.
- Property Finance and Investment: Assist clients with property finance matters, including investment opportunities and funding.
- Leasehold Management and Disputes: Handle leasehold management and disputes between landlords and tenants.
- Regeneration Projects: Offer legal advice and expertise on urban regeneration and related projects.
- Contract Drafting, Review, and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts on behalf of clients, ensuring clear and legally compliant agreements.
- Mergers, Acquisitions, and Joint Ventures: Provide legal assistance in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and business disposals related to commercial properties.
- Property Litigation: Represent clients in property disputes, including landlord and tenant disputes and property-related litigation.
Client Base:As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be working with a diverse range of clients, including:
- Government bodies and public sector organizations
- Investors, developers, and funders
- Landlords, energy providers, and utilities companies
- High street businesses, media companies, and corporate groups
You may be involved in cases concerning a variety of commercial properties, such as hotels, shopping complexes, restaurants, airports, railways, and office buildings.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Participate in activities to grow and develop the firm’s client base.
- Supervising Junior Team Members (Senior Solicitors): Senior Solicitors may have additional responsibilities to manage and mentor junior team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
- Proven ability to manage complex and varied caseloads.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
