Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role in transport and warehouse management? My client based in Middlesbrough is looking for an experienced and dynamic Transport & Warehouse Manager to lead their teams and ensure their logistics, stock control, and despatch operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Transport, Despatch, and Stock Holding Functions.
- Lead and manage teams to ensure on-time deliveries and effective stock management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-contract logistics companies, ensuring optimal service and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and control freight costs, identifying savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with export specifications and regulations.
- Drive continuous process improvements across transportation and despatch operations.
- Maintain the SAP ERP system for stock and delivery accuracy, producing reports to monitor performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, customers, and transport providers to resolve escalated issues.
- Ensure all despatch operations align with customer requirements and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a warehousing, transport, or logistics role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop teams.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP knowledge advantageous).
- CILT Level 3 qualification (or higher) preferred.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to take on new responsibilities.

- Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience
- Hours: Mon-Thurs, 8:00 am-4:00 pm; Fri, 8:00 am-2:00 pm
