Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct prompt and efficient breakdown repairs as required.
- Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, ensuring thorough documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of completed work and pending tasks daily.
- Monitor store stock and usage to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Adhere to best practice operation standards, focusing on health & safety, hygiene, and quality.
- Contribute to and complete project work on-site to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
- Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Dedication to improving efficiency within the maintenance department.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime shifts and be flexible to meet company needs.
Advantageous Skills:
- Proven electrical skills, particularly within the plastics/injection moulding industry.
- 18th Edition Certificate preferred, 17th would be acceptable.Â
- Experience in PAT testing.
Shift Pattern: Initially, a 2-shift rotating pattern (2 days and 2 nights)—potential for a 4-shift pattern within the next year.
