Renowned for their commitment to innovation, quality, and efficiency, my client, is at the forefront of delivering high-volume, sustainable manufacturing solutions globally. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing with an electrical bias, and an ability to read mechanical/electrical schematic diagrams is essential. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prompt and efficient breakdown repairs as required.
  • Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Maintain detailed records of completed work and pending tasks daily.
  • Monitor store stock and usage to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Adhere to best practice operation standards, focusing on health & safety, hygiene, and quality.
  • Contribute to and complete project work on-site to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
  • Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) systems.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Dedication to improving efficiency within the maintenance department.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime shifts and be flexible to meet company needs.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Proven electrical skills, particularly within the plastics/injection moulding industry.
  • 18th Edition Certificate preferred, 17th would be acceptable. 
  • Experience in PAT testing.

Shift Pattern: Initially, a 2-shift rotating pattern (2 days and 2 nights)—potential for a 4-shift pattern within the next year.
