You will be responsible for optimising production processes, identifying areas of improvement and enhancing efficiency.   • Optimise and maintain Manufacturing Engineering processes in line with company and product quality standards, including ISO 9001.
  • Ensure robust designs and processes for the Manufacturing team, meeting product yield, quality, and time targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to champion and implement design for manufacturing principles throughout the product life cycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the Operations team.
  • Support the Operations team, providing training on best practices for key processes.
  • Create detailed and accurate work instructions using CAD and written documentation.
Manufacturing Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an Electrical / Electronic Practical Production Engineering position
  • Degree / HND (or relevant experience) in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
  • Proficient in electronic fault finding, soldering, and electrical wiring
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 8D)
  • Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Office suite, and MRP systems
  • Ability to create and optimise work instructions for product manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
