HSE Adviser

We are looking for an HSE Adviser to join the team at our Port Clarence Facility.

The HSE Adviser has responsibility for assisting in the implementation of both corporate HSE policies and Procedures along with Project specific execution plans for Wilton Engineering in addition to providing support to PC Logistics Limited where needed. The incumbent will work closely with construction, operations and facilities management to enhance the health and safety of employees, sub- contractors and other third parties on site.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Continuously monitoring the working environment and providing support to the construction and operations teams in delivering a safe working environment.
  • Participate in regular HSE meetings with all stake holders to discuss HSE objectives, concerns and actions.
  • Assist in the communication of appropriate HSE related information in an accurate and timely manner i.e. via notice boards, toolbox talks, project meetings and training sessions etc.
  • Provide HSE input and guidance into lift execution plans site movements and RAMS for group companies.
  • Review of Sub-contract RAMS for operations carried out in the Port Clarence Offshore Base.
  • Look for means of improving the safe working environment in partnership with Construction, Operations and Facilities Management.
  • Encourage hazard identification and reporting of all incidents and near misses by site personnel.
  • Attend and provide input into HSE Committee.
  • Carry out inductions for employees, sub-contractors and visitors.
  • Prepare written reports on weekly/monthly basis as required.
  • Lead accident investigations and report back to senior management.
  • Carry out HSE internal audits as directed.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday- Friday
  • 0700-1500
