Site Manager – North East
I am seeking an experienced Site Manager to join my client on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for overseeing residential housing projects, primarily focusing on groundworks packages with values ranging from £3 million to £5 million. The role will be based across multiple locations, including Teesside, Newcastle, Durham, and Scarborough.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations on-site. Ensure all workers are adhering to safety protocols.
• Manage and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and any other on-site workers. Conduct regular site meetings to discuss progress and address any issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work meets the required standards and specifications. Address any quality issues promptly.
• Act as the main point of contact between the project team, clients, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates and reports on project progress.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, and any other necessary documentation.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential housing projects, particularly in groundworks.
• SMSTS certification is required. First Aid certification is preferable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and teams effectively.
• Mobility: Willingness to work across various locations including Teesside, Newcastle, Durham, and Scarborough
