- Provide site support for breakdown maintenance and mechanical fault finding.
- Installation, maintenance, and repairs of all mechanical equipment
- Managing and inputting mechanical maintenance data in the site maintenance management system.
- Help the site team manage minor projects that are taking place on the site.
- Put Health and safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all H&S standards and regulations.
- Completed technical apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline.
- BTEC Level 3 diploma (or BTEC ONC) in a mechanical discipline as a minimum.
- Familiarity with a range of pump types including centrifugal, vane and air operated diaphragm.
- Familiarity with a range of valves - particularly ball valves.
- Willingness to undertake basic site maintenance tasks (non-mechanical).
- Previous experience of the chemical industry and a workplace dealing with the handling of highly flammable products, particularly in relation to solvents and hazardous ATEX zones.
- Knowledge of Pneumatic Systems.
- Additional non-mechanical skills.
- Willingness to expand skillset via further training.
