- Supporting students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion, helping them to re-engage with education
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a structured and supportive environment
- Building positive relationships to foster trust and motivation
- Implementing behaviour management strategies and working closely with teaching staff and external professionals
- Providing emotional and academic support to help students progress
- Experience working with young people in an education, care, or support setting
- Understanding of behaviour management, mental health needs, and neurological conditions
- A resilient nature, positive attitude, and a good sense of humour
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
