This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and reputable team, providing essential payroll services to public sector organisations. You will be managing and processing payroll from start to finish using the Sage system.  Key Responsibilities as a Payroll Executive:
  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients, processing their payrolls from start to finish.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing in line with UK payroll legislation.
  • Calculate pay adjustments where required. 
  • Ensure all staff are paid correctly and updating payroll systems.
  • Handle payroll-related queries, including those related to pensions.
  • Work collaboratively within a busy payroll team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • A self-starter who is detail-oriented and thrives under pressure.
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation and calculations
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in payroll systems (MS Office proficiency is essential).
