Empowering Learning are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistant's to join our dedicated team in the Teesside area. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Learning Support Assistants play a key role in the educational development of a young person that needs additional 1:1 support. Providing consistency and tailored learning to the young child.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing support to students with a range of special educational needs.Assisting with classroom activities, including one-on-one support and group work.Promoting inclusion and a positive learning environment.Working closely with teachers and other school staff to meet the individual needs of the child.Maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment.Adapting to different school settings and environments.Requirements:

Relevant experience working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a Mainstream or SEN setting however those that have worked in a care background would also be considered. A passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs.Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and commit to and be able to work full time 5 days a week. A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
