Quality Control Technician Location: MiddlesbroughSalary: CompetitiveHours: various shift patternType: PermanentMain Purpose of the role:Monitor manufactured products to ensure that they consistently meet specified standards. Complete product testing and internal inspections against specific schedules or requestsResponsibilities:Analysis of offloading of all ingredientsAnalytical testingConfirm CIP completed to required standardEnsure packaging lines are serviced with products as requiredFill height checks on all bottling linesCarry out checksConfirm suitability of incoming products prior to use Analytical testing of in-process products.Analytical & microbiological testing of finished productsMicrobiological preparation work.Calibration of laboratory and factory equipment on a daily basis.Daily In-process packaging checks on all products.Carry out Monthly, hygiene, fabrication and GMP inspections and log findings.Reporting outcome of the monthly hygiene, fabrication and GMP inspections to relevant department Glass and hard plastics audits - Monthly and quarterly.Paperwork checks on in-process and finished products throughout the shift.Final pack packaging checks.To inform the Technical Manager/ Technical Quality Lead of any out of specification results.Ensure correct recoding of actions within IFS stock inventory systemEnsure all documentation is completed and record all documentation legibly and correctly.Ensure documentation is scanned/ attached to IFS as appropriateEnsure the work area and laboratory is kept clean & tidy.Report any faulty or broken equipment to the Technical Manager/ Technical Quality LeadEnsure a correct shift handover takes place with other Technicians.To provide holiday cover for other Technicians when necessary.Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Technical Manager/ Technical Quality Lead.RequirementsHighly organised with good prioritisation skills and IT literate.QA or technical experience within a factory environmentStrong organisational skills with high attention to detailWillingness and ability to be flexibleFor more information please contact Dan at Imperial Recruitment Group
