Project Manager- Middlesbrough:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead our onshore wind project in Middlesbrough. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development of renewable energy, working on a vital project that will contribute to a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring the successful delivery of the wind farm project within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and assess potential risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, local communities, and regulatory bodies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of onshore wind farm design, construction, and operation, including turbine technologies and operational procedures.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources effectively to ensure project financial viability.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and updates for stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and key decisions.


Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the wind industry, with a strong track record of delivering successful onshore wind projects.
  • Extensive experience with turbine operations, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of wind energy technologies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • A commitment to safety, sustainability, and ethical business practices
