A globally leading Chemical Manufacturer are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their dynamic team in the Middlesbrough area.

This is a permanent, site-based position working alongside the engineering and maintenance teams and as the Maintenance Planner, you will play an integral part in coordinating and producing a weekly schedule of planned preventative maintenance routines to ensure

Key Information for the Maintenance Planner:

As the Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for coordinating and producing the weekly schedule of planned preventive maintenance routines as well as defects and statutory inspections in line with site priorities. This will include liaising with the production plants throughout the site to ensure that asset availability and schedule compliance as per set to KPI's.

Main Responsibilities of the Maintenance Planner:

  • Ensure optimum efficiency of assets by collaborating with maintenance operations and process teams to ensure business as usual and integration of expansion projects across the site.
  • Facilitate and manage asset registration for all equipment on site implementing new items of equipment into the BMS System.
  • Ensure planned work as per the schedule is updated in the maintenance management system.
  • Work with maintenance and engineering to ensure spare items are correct for PM work and correct stock levels are held in the site engineering stores.
  • Ensure check sheets are completed for each PM and stored correctly.
  • Liaise with engineering and maintenance to maintain site preventative routines including the updating, creating, cancelling of routines and ensuring frequency is correct.

Essential Skills and Experience needed for the Engineering Administrator position:

  • Previous experience of creating Maintenance Schedules in an Engineering environment.
  • Asset Management Qualification
  • Previous experience of working with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Experience of worming on a COMAH Site or a Chemical Manufacturing Plant
  • Engineering experience in a similar role
