We are currently supporting a school who are looking for a dedicated and experienced School Catering Supervisor to join them at their school in Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school kitchen, ensuring that nutritious and delicious meals are prepared and served to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the catering team.
- Plan and prepare a variety of healthy meals in accordance with dietary guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Provide excellent customer service for students, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with menu planning and budgeting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- The ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work on a temporary or permanent basis.
