The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maths education, tailored to meet the needs of our diverse student body, and helping them to overcome barriers to learning.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching maths at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students in alternative provision settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
