Job Title: Science Teacher (QTS)

Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £160 - £200 per day (depending on experience)

We are looking for a knowledgeable, skilled, and committed Teacher of Science - KS3 to KS4 full time from September 2024 with the enthusiasm and self-belief to support our students as we seek to shape them into the knowledgeable and skilled problems solvers, creatives, and producers of tomorrow. This post would suit a newly, or recently qualified, teacher as well as more experienced teachers. We are excited about the potential of our department. Required from January 2025 this is an opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic teacher of science across the age and ability range up to GCSE.
Requirements of successful candidate.
- Hold a teaching qualification, QTS.
- Hold a degree or equivalent.
- Have outstanding teaching practice.
- Have excellent behaviour management.
- Have experience of lesson observations and giving robust feedback.
- Have experience of improvement planning.
- Have experience of implementing a range of strategies to raise student achievement, with evidence of success.
- Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
- A proven track record of excellent results at KS3/4.
- Have experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
