We are looking for a knowledgeable, skilled, and committed Teacher of Science - KS3 to KS4 full time from September 2024 with the enthusiasm and self-belief to support our students as we seek to shape them into the knowledgeable and skilled problems solvers, creatives, and producers of tomorrow. This post would suit a newly, or recently qualified, teacher as well as more experienced teachers. Would you like the opportunity to develop your career, working in a 'good' school, to work within our exciting Science Department? We want to appoint someone who will make a significant contribution.

We are excited about the potential of our department. Required from January 2025 this is an opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic teacher of science across the age and ability range up to GCSE.

Requirements of successful candidate.

  • Hold a teaching qualification, QTS.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent.
  • Have outstanding teaching practice.
  • Have excellent behaviour management.
  • Have experience of lesson observations and giving robust feedback.
  • Have experience of improvement planning.
  • Have experience of implementing a range of strategies to raise student achievement, with evidence of success.
  • Contribution to impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
  • A proven track record of excellent results at KS3/4.
  • Have experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
