Empowering Learning is seeking Mental Health Support Workers for Alternative Provisions and PRUs in Middlesbrough and surrounding areas.
Candidates should have a passion for making a positive contribution to students with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs.
The position requires individuals who are person-centred, available to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and capable of supporting students with education support plans (EHCPs).
The role demands a calm and resilient person who can de-escalate situations and engage students in learning.
An enhanced DBS on the update service is required, and the salary is competitive based on experience.

Empowering learning are working with several Alternative Provisions and PRU's in Middlesbrough and surroundings areas who are in need of Mental Health Support Workers.

The schools are requiring an individual who is-

Person centred,

Available to work 5 days a week Monday to Friday 8.00 till 16.00.

Can support students who have education support plans (EHCP's)

Able to de escalate situations as they may arise

A calm and resilient person who is able to engage the students with the love of learning

To be a role model and support mechanism
