About Us:Randstad is excited to partner with the Adults Safeguarding Team in Middlesbrough to recruit a dedicated Social Worker. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting vulnerable adults, protecting their rights, and ensuring their safety in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Job Description:As an Adults Safeguarding Social Worker, you will manage complex cases involving vulnerable adults who may be at risk of abuse or neglect.Your role will include assessments, interventions, and collaborative work to safeguard and empower individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive safeguarding assessments to identify risks and needs.
  • Develop and implement protection plans that promote safety, independence, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals and external agencies, to ensure effective support and intervention.
  • Provide advice and advocacy to adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.

Participate in strategy meetings, case conferences, and review meetings as required.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in adult safeguarding or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Care Act 2014.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with adults, families, and professionals.
