We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Birth Social Worker to join our highly skilled team in Middlesbrough. This role is crucial in working with parents where there is a risk or likelihood of unmet needs for their unborn baby. You will be instrumental in supporting families, ensuring they have access to the specialist help they need, and making a significant difference in their lives.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Engage with parents and extended families to support the care of their unborn baby.
  • Collaborate with key partner agencies to provide coordinated support and timely help to families.
  • Undertake robust analytical evidence-based assessments leading to sound judgements, decision-making, and planning.
  • Work within a multi-agency forum to reduce drift and delay in service provision.
  • Receive support from a trauma-informed practice lead and an experienced team manager for individual and group supervision.
