We are looking for a passionate, motivated individual to join our Harm Minimisation Team as an Assertive Outreach Caseworker. The successful candidate will utilise community sites to engage people not currently engaged with mainstream services for support with issues around drugs and alcohol use, delivering a range of psychosocial interventions to help clients reach their health and wellbeing goals.
Previous experience and/or knowledge of substance use services would be advantageous but is not essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided. Similarly, previous experience within this field is desirable but not essential. We are looking for transferable skills such as caseload management, care planning, risk management and previous experience of working with vulnerable clients. This job would be good for those who have previously worked in a support setting. We also welcome those with lived experience.
