Day-to-day of the role:
- Support the delivery of high-quality learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with students, helping to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with a professional team to plan and implement educational activities.
- Utilise and develop skills to contribute to the continuous improvement of educational practices.
- Engage in comprehensive Continuous Professional Development to enhance abilities and understanding of diverse learning needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong ability to relate well to children and young people.
- Excellent team player with robust problem-solving skills.
- Resilient and able to use initiative in a dynamic educational environment.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Good Maths and English skills.
- Basic IT skills, including the use of emails.
- Willingness to learn, reflect, and share effective practice with others.
- Previous experience in a school is not essential; however, transferable skills are highly valued.
