Addison Project Plc is seeking a contractor to provide Control and Instrumentation Engineering services for a period of 12 months based in our office in Middlesbrough.

Services to be provided

  • Site, surveys, visits and client meetings

  • Instrument Cable routing drawings & cable schedules

  • C&I Engineering Design

  • Instrument Block cable diagrams, Loop diagrams

  • C&I Installation Scope of Work documents

  • Instrument datasheets

  • Checking and approval of Engineering Design

  • Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison

  • Technical evaluations of estimates

  • Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design

  • Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids

Person specification

You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.

Experience of relevant calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget

A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection and installation of control and electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.

You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
