Reed FE are partnered with a College in the Northeast who are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Electrical Maintenance Engineering. This role involves planning and delivering a wide range of challenging and relevant learning experiences, ensuring all learners can develop the necessary skills, knowledge, behaviours, and attitudes for the 21st Century.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver educational content on a range of qualifications, including Pearson’s Level 3 BTEC’s and City & Guilds Level 3 T Levels.
- Conduct both classroom and workshop-based sessions, providing a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
- Plan and prepare sessions in line with curriculum requirements and industry standards.
- Assess and evaluate learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Engage with continuous professional development activities to ensure teaching practices are up-to-date and effective.
- Professional/Industry experience in Maintenance Engineering (essential) No Teaching Qualification Required
- Relevant academic and professional qualifications in Electrical Maintenance Engineering.
- Experience in teaching or training, preferably in a similar educational setting.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining teaching standards, including achieving QTLS & QTS and potentially ATS for salary progression.
- Competitive salary scale from £28,419 to £41,874 per annum, with progression opportunities based on achieving specific teaching statuses.
