A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join aMiddlesbrough based client on a permanent basis.
A sucsesful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of site equipment and infrastructure. This will include the maintenance of equipment, machinery and the plant, ensuring that production is able to function with optimum capabilities.
There could be oppertunities of a management role for the right candidate along with overseas oppertunities.
Duties:
- Determine cause of potential failure or performance deterioration, and either complete remedial work during shift or brief subsequent shift and Engineering Team Leader on issue, cause and recommended solution
- Involvement with new design, installation and movements of existing machines
- Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment
- Ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose
Role Requirements:
- An experienced maintenance engineer with an electrical knowledge
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes and drive systems
- Professional in their approach to dealing with issues and employees
