Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturing and warehouse client based in Middleton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay Rate: 11.44 per hour
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Shifts: Rotational Shift Pattern (Monday - Friday)
* Early Shift: 05:40 AM - 1:40 PM (Friday early finish)
* Late Shift: 1:40 PM - 9:40 PM (Friday early finish)
Job Overview:
As a Warehouse / Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, working on a production line handling plastic products. Experience working with plastics or in a similar production setting is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating and monitoring heavy machinery on a fast-paced production line
* Handling plastic materials - experience in plastics is a plus
* Manual handling - lifting up to 25kg
* Stock control and maintaining accurate records
* Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or plastic production is beneficial but not essential.
