The Role:
Are you passionate about guiding young people toward a brighter future? We are looking for Career Coaches to provide expert careers advice and guidance to young individuals who are NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training). You will be instrumental in helping them overcome personal challenges, develop key skills, and secure sustainable opportunities in education or employment.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of young people, offering tailored guidance to overcome barriers to education and employment.
  • Create and review SMART Action Plans to help clients progress into Employment, Education, or Training (EET).
  • Facilitate connections to educational programs, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
  • Provide practical support for job applications, interviews, and securing placements.
  • Offer ongoing mentoring to keep young people engaged and motivated.
  • Build partnerships with local organisations to expand opportunities for youth.


Required Skills:

  • Proven track record working with NEET youth or individuals facing barriers to employment.
  • Skilled in providing effective careers advice and linking young people to opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients with tailored support plans.
  • Strong mentoring and motivational skills to keep young people on track.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust quickly.
  • Creative in helping clients navigate personal and professional challenges.


Due to the nature of this role, you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
