Duties of the Maintenance Engineer:

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Work on PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, motors, and automated machinery.
Collaborate with production teams to optimise equipment performance.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety regulations.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer:

Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLC fault-finding (Siemens/Allen Bradley desirable).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
