Talent84 is offering a permanent position for an HGV Technician/Mechanic at their Middlewich site with a pay rate of £18.00 per hour, increasing to £19.50 for Saturday work and £24.50 for Sunday overtime.
The role involves working on a 3-weekly rota, with hours varying from 06:00-15:00 and 10:00-19:00, including every other Saturday morning.
Candidates must have a City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in a relevant field along with a full UK driving licence.
Mechanical experience within a workshop is required, and duties will include inspection, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics of HGVs and tankers.

Talent84 have a permanent opportunity for a HGV Technician / Mechanic to work for an established logistics provider at their site in Middlewich

Hours:

Working on a 3-weekly rota:

Week 1 06:00-15:00 Monday - Friday
Week 2 06:00-15:00 Monday - Friday
Week 3 10.00 - 19.00 Monday - Friday
every other Saturday 06.00 - 12.00 (enhanced payment)

Pay:

£18.00 per hour
Saturday £19.50 per hour
If Sundays are worked as overtime £24.50 per hour

Duties are varied and may include:

Inspection, Repairs and Maintenance of HGVs and Tankers
Diagnostics work - accurately using and interpreting output from diagnostics equipment
Ensuring all work carried out is within industry, company, and manufacturer guidelines
Completing associated vehicle records

Skills Required

City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in a relevant field
Full UK Driving Licence
Mechanical experience within a workshop
