We are seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher to join our dynamic team, teaching KS3 and Year 10 students. The position also includes some general cover responsibilities, offering a varied and engaging work environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in computing to KS3 and Year 10 students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, educational materials, and classroom activities based on current educational best practice and knowledge of subject matter.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress in computing and provide constructive feedback to foster their development.
- Maintain classroom discipline and uphold school policies.
- Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and teacher training workshops.
- Perform general cover duties as required, providing support across various subjects and maintaining educational continuity.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching computing at KS3 and Year 10 levels.
- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for computing.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage classrooms effectively and create a positive learning environment.
