Pre delivery QA Inspector

We are working with an excellent company based in Mildenhall who are looking to recruit a Pre delivery QA Inspector to work alongside the Quality Manager to ensure standards are met for the business.

This role would be tasked with monitoring and checking the workmanship and quality of the goods being manufactured on site.

The typical hours would be 8:00am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday.

Typical duties would include:

·Conduct visual and physical inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.

·Use measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.

·Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities in materials and production processes.

·Document and report inspection results, maintaining accurate records of findings.

·Collaborate with QA Manager/production teams to resolve quality issues and suggest improvements.

·Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

·Perform audits on production lines to ensure adherence to quality guidelines.

·Participate in investigations of product failures and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

The successful candidate

·Experience of welding or mechanical inspections.

·Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

·Proficiency in reading technical drawings.

·Knowledge of measurement tools and testing equipment.

·Ability to document findings clearly and accurately.
