We are partnered with a renowned global manufacturer seeking experienced Shift Production Engineers for both Day and Night Shifts. Ideal candidates will have experience managing workshop operations, particularly in assembly or machine operation.
This role offers a competitive base salary with additional attractive shift allowances. Candidates can choose from various shift patterns, including Day (06:00-18:00) or Night Shifts (18:00-06:00), working 3 or 4 days per week, with one weekend day included.
Shift Production Engineer Duties Include:
- Supporting the department head in optimising product output
- Investigate and offer suggestions for process improvements and or cost reductions
- Assisting in production as needed to ensure consistent output
- Aiding in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff
- Diagnosing and preparing lathe machines and other related equipment
- Using maintenance software to complete and update tasks
- Providing support to Service Engineers when necessary
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a production environment, with hands-on knowledge of methodologies like Kanban, Root Cause Analysis, Poka-Yoke, and other key process improvement techniques.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate, with a strong emphasis on opportunities for advancement within the company.
