We are partnered with a renowned global manufacturer in search of experienced Shift Production Engineers for both Day and Night shifts. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in managing workshop operations, especially in assembly and machine operations.
This role provides a competitive base salary with additional shift allowances and offers flexibility in scheduling. Shift options include Day (06:00-18:00) or Night (18:00-06:00), working 3 to 4 days per week, with one weekend day included.
Shift Production Engineer Duties Include:
- Supporting the department head in optimising product output
- Investigate and offer suggestions for process improvements and or cost reductions
- Assisting in production as needed to ensure consistent output
- Aiding in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff
- Diagnosing and preparing lathe machines and other related equipment
- Using maintenance software to complete and update tasks
- Providing support to Service Engineers when necessary
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a production environment, with hands-on knowledge of methodologies like Kanban, Root Cause Analysis, Poka-Yoke, and other key process improvement techniques.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate, with a strong emphasis on opportunities for advancement within the company.
