We are recruiting for an experienced Electronics Repair Engineer based in Mildenhall, Suffolk. This is a great role for anyone looking to enhance their skills and career within the Electrical Engineering sector. 

The company specialise in the repair and supply of Industrial Automation equipment and are expanding their current service capabilities. They are looking for committed individuals who can work to and deliver a high level of service to their customers. Using problem solving skills to find a logical approach to testing and fault finding.

Responsibilities:

  • To fault find, repair, refurbish and test Industrial automation equipment, such as variable speed drives, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Industrial PC’s, power supplies, PCB’s down to component level quite often without the aid of schematics.
  • Meet personal deliverable targets set.
  • Collaborative working with the team to meet operational quality standards

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Problem solver, logical and methodical approach to fault finding and testing.
  • Be able to use standard equipment i.e. multi-meter, oscilloscope, variable power supplies, hand tools.
  • Have excellent soldering skills
  • Possess a strong understanding of various electronic components and their functions.

The right person for this position will have previous experience in a similar role or have a recognised qualification and a keen interest in electronics.
