Production Engineer – Transfer Press
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary : £30,000 - £40,000
Benefits: 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, company social events, free on-site parking., staff canteen, holiday allowance increasing with length of service.

Our client, based in Mildenhall, is looking for an experienced engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in using a variety of tool room and workshop machinery, with a particular advantage for those familiar with transfer press machines.

Duties to Include:
- Assist the department head increasing and maintaining product output.
- Be involved with purchasing of further machines.
- Investigate and suggest improvements for processes or cost reductions.
- Assist in the running of the machine where necessary to maintain output.
- Assist with training new staff and progression training for existing staff.
- Diagnose and repair machine as required.
What we are looking for:
- 10 + years experience within a production environment
- Experienced in using a range of tool room/workshop based machinery.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- The ability to diagnose faults
- Willing to be hands on as required by the department.
- Familiar with ISO 9001:2015
- Strong communication skills.
