We are currently recruiting for a Materials Controller for a manufacturing company based in Mildenhall. They’re looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar role and is confident working with MRP Systems.
The position is a full-time permanent position and the team are keen for someone to join the team as soon as possible.
Typical duties Include:
- Managing the MRP system to ensure material is available to support demand.
- Working with manufacturing sites to ensure stock is managed effectively
- Creating and distributing supplier schedules and orders
- Helping to continuously improve systems, automating processes where appropriate.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience working in a material planner or inventory management role
- Proficient with MRP systems
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Analytical with strong problem solving skills
It would be beneficial but isn’t essential if the successful candidate had previous experience working in a manufacturing industry.
