Compass Point Recruitment is partnering up with one of the UK's leading specialists in manufacturing. Delivering high-quality components and precision-engineered products to a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team in Mildenhall.
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest industry standards and customer expectations. You will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of products to ensure they meet quality requirements
- Identify and report non-conformances, working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Work collaboratively with different departments to maintain high-quality standards throughout production
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of measuring techniques and quality control procedures
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems
- Experience using CMM machines (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
