Join a fast-paced yard environment as a Dispatch Yard Operative, working outdoors alongside a skilled team. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with strong practical skills, yard experience, and a proactive work ethic.
A valid driving licence is required, as this role involves local driving. Having a Counterbalance FLT licence would be ideal.
Dispatch Yard Operative Duties:
- Carry out general yard duties, including loading and unloading materials
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move goods safely and efficiently
- Assist with dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipments
- Drive locally as part of the role, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
- Use hand and power tools for assembly, fitting, and maintenance tasks
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, keeping the yard organised and safe
Pay & Hours:
- 13.00 p/hour
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
- 40-hour workweek
