Our client based in the Carnforth area, are seeking a Customer Service Manager who is passionate about improving customer service experiences, creating engaged customers, and facilitating organic growth. The ideal candidate will take ownership of customer issues and see problems through to resolution, setting a clear mission and deploying strategies focused on that mission.

Day to day of the role:

  • Develop service procedures, policies, and standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
  • Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports, manage and report on KPIs via RCCM.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop customer service advisors, fostering an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
  • Stay informed of industry developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement.
  • Manage customer returns effectively and act as a contract sales champion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a Customer Service Manager.
  • Experience in providing customer service support.
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques.
  • Proficiency in English and effective communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of customer service software, databases, and tools.
  • Awareness of the industry’s latest technology trends and applications.
  • Strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
  • A customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
