Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Residential Child Care Worker - Qualified to work full time based in Children’s home in Milnthorpe, Cumbria.

The salary for this Permanent Residential Care Worker job is up to £27,664

Main Duties:

  • Be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do
  • Provide a stimulating environment, conductive to the educational, personal, and social development of the children as outlined on their education, health and care plans (EHCP)
  • You will be a Key Worker for a child or small groups of children offering appropriate levels of support, guidance and care and you will maintain regular contact with the parents/carers of our children and young people, under the direction of senior staff
  • Commitment to developing confident and capable young people and making a difference to their lives by meeting their educational, health and social care needs in structured, nurturing school and home provisions
  • Complete sleep in as required

Requirements of this job:

  • Experience of working within a children’s home setting
  • A passion for supporting young people and holds
  • To hold Level 3 Residential Child Care Diploma or equivalent
